PHOTOS BY LES VANDALESWe recently discovered the artist DEVO after seeing his t-shirt collaboration with the Savoie et Fils store. Right away we felt his style and saw a potential between DEVO designs and all in. We met with him a couple of times to discuss details and finally decided to go on with the idea of a custom design box to be delivered at random between store and online orders. We met once again with DEVO to get to know him a little more.Introduce yourself.D: My name is Devon and I'm a 24 year old, self taught illustrator who thinks...

How long have you been making music? What got you hooked? S: I've been hooked to music since my dad let me play his records when I was a toddler. S: Introduce yourself? W: What's good y'all, my name is Walla P, Founder, Dj & Host of Voyage Funktastique, based out of Montreal, Canada. S: How and why did you first get into Djing? Then, I got offered a small Dj gig for my friends' vernissage, and what was supposed to be a 45 minutes set turned into a 5 hour set.  That was back...

PHOTOS BY ELIE DAHDOUH  Tell us about your start as a producer and how falcxne came to be?  F: I got big into “laptop” production two and a half years ago or so. I’ve been playing music pretty much my whole life – piano and guitar especially – so it only made sense to get into recording once I started coming up with my own stuff. Got into electronic music in college in Montreal and tried producing in first year. Really dark stuff at first, I pretty much wanted to be Burial (and still do). Gave up for a while discouraged...

Tell us a bit about your name change. R: My tracks were starting to sound a little different and I didn't feel like using my real name anymore. I think it's easier to work on something conceptually when you're using an alias. Can we expect a completely different sound? R: We'll see, I hope so but I can't really predict what I make anymore. Don't really want to either. All I know is having less time to play gigs has been a blessing in disguise. Keeping up with new music is tedious and I'd rather get my inspiration from other...
